Context: A trellis was needed to support our trumpet vine and the neighbor's grape vines that kept latching on to my plants. The location was above a shade garden, so no harm done by shading it even more. |
Idea: I was trying to come up with a design using 1x3's & lattice, but nothing felt quite right. Then, the University City Tree Pruning Club went down our street and pruned all the street trees. There were bundled branches at the corner and Dylan threw out the idea to re-purpose some of them to make our trellis. Perfect! |
