Context: This is phase I of a 3-phase project to renovate all bathrooms in this late nineteenth century semi-detached house. This is the second floor guest bathroom. Existing conditions were dated and all plumbing was exposed. |
Idea: The existing bathroom was gutted, and the claw foot tub retained for re-use in the first floor bathroom. Renovations included modern fixtures and tile selected by the client, radiant floor heat, and a new custom built steam shower with recessed tile soap shelves. Services included survey, space planning, construction documents, advice on tile products and sealers, and consultations with the contractor. |
